Hi to all! My husband and I have been busy helping a friend build a
house, so Gator has been neglected. Some cool things, though.....Gator
RAN! Well, ya know, not like down the road or anything. (broken drive
shaft) But we got the ol' girl to run for a few minutes! I got all
goose bumpy, and teary-eyed...Oh, come on!! I'm a girl ya know!!!:)
Anyway, there is a problem with the fuel pump. We'll be replacing that
soon. And the other thing is, it had occurred to me one day while I
was adding up the cost of patch panels, (WHOA NELLIE!!$$$) that my
brother in law works for a steel fabricator. With all the holes in the
floor and all, I figured that if he could bring me scraps of metal, I
could make a lot of my own patches. To make a "Leah" story short, he
showed up at my house yesterday with a brand new 4 x 8 sheet of 18 gauge
steel for me. He had ordered it, and paid only $15 for it! Cool, huh?
My question, is 18 gauge strong enough for the floor? Hope so,
otherwise, I bet he could get stronger stuff for me. Nice guy! After a
while crocs!
