Tip the truck on its side? <g>  No really, I had to do the same thing last
summer.  A good pair of small needle nosed pliers or tweesers should do it.
It should just slide out.  There are no threads or anything like that on
the end.  On some trannys, the whole speedo gear can be pulled out.
