Hi Steve,
I don't have a plan or diagram, however I do have a 49 1/2 ton (3100) which
I replaced the bed wood. My low $$$ approach was some Douglas Fir planks
from good ole Home Depot. I cut em down on a table saw, drilled the holes
on a drill press table, and stained and varnished em. I did buy the metal
strips however, and use black epoxy appliance paint on them.

I measured from the front panel rearward, and the first bolt is at 2", next
26 1/2", 53", and last one is 73 1/2". The holes in the strips, best I can
tell are from the front panel rearward, 1 7/8", 14 3/4", 27", 41 3/4", 53
3/4", 65", and 76 1/2".

I have a couple pic's at <http://home.utm.net/bfischer/tcover1a.html> if
you care to take a look. This was 2 years ago and it's still in good shape.
