The Dana 60 was available in Chevy (but mostly GMC) trucks in
the 60s, as part of the heavy half ton option...with 6 lug
axles.  I have one of these rears in one of my 59s, and another
in pieces.  I wonder if the axles are the same length?  the
wheel bearings the same size?  the brakes the same?  If so, then
perhaps the axles would work in the one you have.  I don't
recall seeing Dana 60 rears in Ford trucks...except 3/4 tons
with floating axles and 8 lugs.  What's the tag say?

You could probably get the axles/drums redrilled at a
driveline/rearend shop, or possibly a "normal" machine shop.
