Hi All,
The original paint for my 1955 second series deluxe cab was a kind of
Turquoise green the color it is painted now is tan. I am working from
the box forward and am wondering 1. if anyone knows were to buy this
paint and how to identify it. and 2. What is the best way to refurbish
this truck. Currently I am doing the rough body work on the bed and was
thinking of just matching up the paint with the tan that is on their
right now and just touching up the fenders etc. as I go... Or would it
be best to just paint the Box with the original green as I do each
section of the truck. I suspect that it will take me about 2 years to
finish all the body work since I plan to drive it. The truck actually
looks pretty decent though it does have rust damage that I need to
repair.
