hi all,
i work at the ford dealer in town. (more employees own GM at this dealer
than fords incidently). and i was hauling old Focus gas tanks off to the
corner of the lot when i saw a '51 chevy 3100. i poked around it and found
it to be pretty striaght, compleatly rust free (even the cab corners were
solid as new). i asked around work and found the owner, acutally, the son of
the owner. he said it his dad bought the truck brand new. the only thing not
original is the shifter handle (not the shifter, but the handle on top) and
seat cover to cover the torn orignal seat. other than that, its 100%
original and in near perfect shape. it was somethin, let me tell you.
theres also a repo man that works for us who drives a '58 chevy panel,
pretty original, cept its got a back seat, a 327, and a in-dash 8-track
player.
