Any coil from a 55-2 Chevy on up to about 67 should work.  For that 
matter, the original 52 coil should even work.  Just hook the hot 
wire to the old distributor side and the distributor wire to the 
old hot side.  In both cases, don't forget the ballast resistor or 
you will be burning up points and maybe more. Odds are you won't 
need the 12 volt bypass for starting.

You should be able to get a new coil from a NAPA or other FLAPS for 
a reasonable price.
