It shouldn't make any difference at all if it is the same as my 57-3100. It 
just closes two contacts together. You can check the switch by shorting the 
two wires together. The brake lights should come on.

I saw all of the postings for this but deleted them not thinking about it but 
which wires go on what connector on brake switch for 53 3100.
