Ok guys, I've got a TH400 in my 59 TFand I CANNOT get the pan to quit
leaking. I thought maybe the flanges are warped...bought a new
pan....torqued to 12-13 ft lbs....no luck.....I still get a pan with drips
ALL over it....so bad that if it sits very long, I need to add to get it
moving again.

The pan I got, which was the first I saw, was one of the aftermarket chrome
ones.....was this my first mistake?

Here's the question....would you go back to a stock pan? I just liked the
drain plug.

Also....it would be STUPID to use sealer on the pan, right?? I always
figured some may end up in the clutches etc and cause more larger problems.
Input or ideas??

I've taken the pan off, beat flanges....replaced gaskets....tried different
torque settings....no luck.

Thnks for input......maybe this is an excuse for tha AOD!!
