I've been hav'n thoughts about putting a Jag front end under my 55
2nd. The Jag FE has R&P steering , disk brakes, 5 on 5 bolt
pattern and it's about the right width. It's held on the jag by 4
rubber mounts, 2 in front and 2 in back. The jag frame is about 7"
from the ground. My truck frame is about 17". I was thinking
(dangerous) Why not just make a couple of 4X4 (steel tube) beams
to replace the springs in the truck and put the jag mounts on the
beams? SoundS too easy. Where am I going wrong?
