Some 55 second series were originally 6 volt systems. Master Parts Book
shows 6 volt generators and voltage regulators for 55 TF models. Maybe
they came with an ammeter instead of the light??

diagrams
for this year do not show a generator light, later year models show this
light
1956 also shows the ammeter gauge.
