[oletrucks] GM 292 inline 6

Does anyone know if a 60-70's Chevy 292 six will fit in a 1950-52 GMC 1/2 ton
p-u? Is there a 4 spd auto (w O/D) or 5 spd (w O/D ) manual transmission that
works with the 292? When and if I ever have the time and money, I'd like to
build a GMC that at least  "kindof" looks stock. If the stock market (and my
401[K] ) don't improve fairly soon, I won't be able to build "nuthin". Bob K
