The starter drive (Bendix) on my 57 GMC (Pontiac) 347V8 daily driver is going bad. It "misses" once or twice and then catches. My local auto parts store only lists this part for Pontiac V8s back to 1960. Anyone know if starter drives from 1960 Pontiac will work on a 57 starter? oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
