Jim, I'll bet a pair of 6V spotlights is as close as we're going to get to
halogen, and I don't know about using them for extended driving periods. May
not be recommended!!

Did it 15 years ago on the ole girl but i used motorcycle 7".  I even used

I bought some 7" round headlights that accept the xenon or halogen bulbs.

I haven't installed them in the truck yet, but they should work ok.

searched on "halogen 7"
