Check out Patrick's Saginaw tranny swap. Retains the torque tube and all.
Can't remember if it fits all the way back to 37. But I'm pretty sure it
goes as far back as 40. That's what I have.

Anybody have any information regarding a tranny swap in an older 37 pickup,
that the owner wants to keep the original torque tube driveline and the
original rear end. Seems most trannies are to long and needs one with a
shorter tail shaft>    --wayne
