My '52 1300 (1/2-ton) and my father-in-law's '51 1430 (1-ton) both have
the side-mounted spare on the passenger side.

I've read on the list b4 that the passenger side version was factory on
Canadian trucks & maybe for more than 53 (as I think 53 was the only
year for US driver's side version). Anyone else have more info or
corrections on this info?
