Hi guys. I've got a question concerning rebuilding the window regulators in
my 57. I got the shaft/pinion gear replacement kits from Chevy Duty and it
comes with three little fasteners that look as if they have to be drilled
slightly and then rolled over to hold the new shaft assembly in place. What
is the best way to accomplish this? Can a pop rivet be substituted or are
they too soft to hold the shaft in place when you are cranking the window.
Also got the roller replacements too. What's the proper procedure for
replacing those?
Hope someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks in advance!
