While surfing for Chevy parts, I came across this vendor web site. Some of 
the prices look pretty good, don't know about the quality.  I have not 
ordered from them, maybe others have.  Check them out at:  
www.fatfenderchevy.com.  Example:  Steel front splash apron for 47-53 truck - 
$65.  I paid twice that.
