Last weekend on trucks TV they installed a propane injection kit on a new
Duramax Diesel, 425 HP on the dyno at the rear wheels.
They also installed a Nitrous kit on the Duramax that then bumped the
Duramax to 455 HP on the dyno. CRAZY!

I have to wonder how well the old chassis -- mostly
frames -- would weather this upgrade. Light truck
frames are constructed quite a bit differently these
days. I doubt that one would have any torque problems
with a diesel in the trucks with the much taller
frames such as the 1.5 tons and up.
Just a thought.
