Maybe he was going down a R-E-A-L-L-Y long hill. There's one in SE Portland.
Mt. Tabor, I think. We used to go down hill there on our bikes. Don't know
how fast we went. My speedometer pegged at 50. A group of 6-8 bikes,
including some riding double. Kids, don't try this at home!!! Bob K
