Hi Susan,
If it's the stock rearend then it's an enclosed drive-line "torque
tube". If you want to go faster and keep the stock rearend housing
then you can buy the new ring and pinion gear set with 3.55 gear
ratio "I'm pretty sure you have the 4.11:1 gear ratio right now" and
have a shop install them. I think you can contact this company for the
gears and additional information.
