[oletrucks] LED bulbs

Has anyone installed the 1157 taillight bulbs with replacement LED bulbs?  I 
am considering using them (either 12 or 19 LEDs) in my '65.  I would like to 
have people behind me able to see me.  I've heard that the LEDs may effect how 
the turn signals work, but don't know how.  Any experts out there?  Thanks.
