Mark, a strong guy can put them on by hand. I was agonizing over them myself
when a large friend happened by who simply removed the old springs and
installed the new ones with his hands.

I am having a very diffucult time getting my hood springs on my 55 Chevy truck
and also my 52 coupe . Where can I purchase a tool to strech these springs to
get them on. Napa and Eastwood do not carry this tool . Any help will be
