I've noticed this many times and have been meaning to bring to the lists
attention. On my 56 TF truck that the hood will seem to rise a bit when
passing and oncoming vehicle or when in windy conditions. You can see the
hood catch wind and raise up a bit. When stopped I can grab the front of
the hood as if to open it, i can lift it about an inch before the catch
--catches it. Using the release mechanism and I can lift the hood up. Is
the just the way they are or have I missed something somewhere. The latch
does hold it securely so it won't come up during movement --wayne
