Hi Ric ~
I have the GMC HEI available from Jim Carter and I love it for fast
starts and no points, condenser to worry about. I do think that the HEI
from Tom Langdon at www.stoveboltengineco.com looks better (smaller) but
it requires a seperate coil. The HEI distributor is a very simple
bolt-in improvement over the stock distributor.
You can see mine at the website below .. it has a finned aluminum cover
tho.
