 Value of an item is mostly a personal thing. The fact that it runs, is only 
valuable to someone that wants to restore it, or use it as original. If you 
plan to swap to a modern V-8, then that engine doesn't have much value. To me, 
the biggest point of value in a vehicle, is the body, and or the interior, and 
the frame/running gear. How much will you have to fix, or replace? Again, it 
all goes back to what you intend to do with the truck.
 I.M.O. I think $500 is a little low, if it's in a restorable condition. That 
auction site sells most running, stock condition trucks in the $600 to $1000 
range.
