My 1996 Dodge Dakota has the same type of mechanism.
Once I solve the gas tank, spare tire issue, I intend
to install one of these. Since I am a non-purist, I
don't care if it comes from a Chevy, Dodge, or Ford. I
draw the line at Toyota.
