All,
  Here is a weird on for you electrical experts.......The gauge works
properly except when my gas tank is nearly full. When I turn corners, usually
to the
right, I hear a metallic noise from inside the tank and the gauge goes to
full momentarily. As the fuel level gets lower, the problem goes away. I'm
guessing the float arm is loose and grounding out against the side of the tank
causing the problem. I have not removed the sending unit yet to check this
out;
maybe this weekend. Has anyone else experienced this type problem?
