John Ross, re your welder query: Kurt says that depending on what you want to do with the welder, 145 amps is marginal. Most machines of that size have such a low duty cycle that it's difficult to do much welding on anything even slightly heavier than sheet metal (e.g., rollcage tubing). Spot-stitch features typically are not used except in pulse MIG, but he doesn't think that's what you're taking about. Steph Weiss |
