-> I have looked at several small lathes and have found a Craftsman 12"
-> x 36" with a three and four jaw chucks, quick change gear box and
-> misc tooling included. Price is about $1300.
That's a fair price. Not an outstanding price, but fair.
-> Has anyone had any experience with the Craftsman lathes? How's the
-> price? Any alternative suggestions?
The majority of Craftsman lathes were made by Atlas, which is out of
business, but parts are still available through Clausing.
