Certified Electrician to pick out a compressor??

The funny thing is the original question was what 208v compressor to use.
Why would you need a certified electrician to pick a compressor?
        You are right, Donald, about the cooling factor. Maybe I can find a way 
to
get 3-phase to that location. I'll see Monday.
