Yes,
Take the thermometer & check the air temp on a couple of other cars. The
temp will depend upon the blower speed. I would expect something in the
40's to low 50's if not lower, with the blower on low speed. Dealers
have access to the specs & detailed troubleshooting procedures if they
are inclined to really fix it. Trying to put freon in it without taking
pressure & temp measurements to diagnose the problem is a half hearted
attempt to get rid of the customer. Maybe look for another dealer who
cares, if your temp measurements on other cars show that something is
wrong with yours.
