I wired my generator to the electric dryer outlet as a quick fix the last
time the power went out. Of course I have to turn off the mains breaker
first, and any nonessential loads.
I'm now looking around for a transfer switch, saw these at Home Depot:

Anybody use these, or similar? Any comments? Is there anything that makes
one much different/better/worse than the others?
