i have no experience, but Toyota truck owners are as fanatical about
them as any other brand's fans are.  These days, that means there are
web fora with people who can answer the question for you.

(Actually, I take that back about "no experience".  I know that there
are different fan viscous
 couplings for that generation of Tacoma.  Maybe whole different fan
assembly, too.  )
