Several places offer replacement drawer slides.  There may be some that are
direct fits or if you're willing to drill and screw/bolt them on you can
get more generics.  The tool box drawer and modern kitchen cabinet ones are
surprisingly similar.  Just google "tool box replacement slides" and lots
of stuff pops up.  I've got a "Clarke" box from Menards that had a similar
problem and replaced them a few years ago --- and they were ball bearing.
It seems to be more to do with how they're fastened to the cabinet and the
drawer.  These were snap in and the tangs that held them in were bending.
