Hey Gang,
I just subscribed to the new Spitfire Mail List and was wondering who
has also subscribed. Let me know!

Hi all!

I am sure most (if not all) of you have come from the Triumph list, so I
won't take much time introducing myself except to say I have two Spits
(numbers 5 and 6 of 6 total across my life so far) -- one is a 1967 Mk3
race car (Tristan) built to SCCA FP regs (but being "detuned" for
vintage racing soon), and the other is a 1968 Mk3 street car (Elliott).
My boyfriend, Jim Gambony, has a 1976 autocross Spit he kindly let me
codrive last year (didn't know what he was getting himself into!) and he
also has several other Spits in varying stages of rehabilitation. I am
in the Texas Region SCCA SoloII program and am going to Hallett Speedway
next week for road race school.

My cars are in Joe's database (Hi Joe! Good work!) and I ask that if you
don't have your Spits in there, that you contact him and do so. There
is no hidden agenda or advertising lists being sold, just a neat way to
keep track of existing Spitfires. The database address is:
http://home1.gte.net/spitlist/index.html

I'm on here to ask questions about Spits, about racing Spits, and to
hopefully have an answer or two if anyone else has a question I know
anything about. Glad to be here!

Keep Triumphing!
Susan Hensley :)
