I has a red 75 a couple of years ago. From a distance it was OK, but not
as nice as my green 78. Anyway, my beautiful wife and I were going to a
friends farm to watch a motorcycle observed trials. We had to travel out
of town to Jasper, TN. We were kind of lost when we arrived and needing
directions. As we approached an intersection, there was a group of
cheerleaders from the local high school who were having a fund drive to
try to finance a trip. As we slowed the last few feet where two of the
girls were standing, one was just staring while the other turned and as
she saw the car, she said "I love that car". The other girl just stood
there speechless with a big smile on her face. We asked directions and
made a donation. As we drove away, I looked in the rearview mirror and
they were both still staring for the longest. These cars really attract
attention. My Midget had the same reaction. The Spit is sexier though.
Keep 'em on the road.
