Jerry, I don't know about stopping the leak, but I would suggest changing
from DOT 3 fluid to DOT 4, or 5.  While changing to these fluids would
necessitate a 100% flush of your system, they will not eat paint.  Opinions
vary, but most people prefer these fluids anyhow.
