I just finished the paint job on my LBC and I priced base/clearcoat. WOW is
that stuff expensive.  I wound up using a Mason product by Dupont.  It's a
Urethane, laid very nice and has a very nice shine.  The guy at the paint
store said that he sells much more urethane products for restorations on
daily driver cars than the clear coats.

By the way, for those that get Speedvision, they have had the Barret car
auction on from Scottsdale AZ, cars going for well over six figures,
Ferrari's, Rolls, Porsche. No spit's.... they did sell a Chevy Nova V8 with
29k on the OD for over 25k !

Be sure that the colour is racing green. We thought that our car was racing
green. It was not. The code 55 is Laurel Green. Looks like Racing green.
