Sorry, let me clarify:

There are two nuts that hold the drivers side of the dash in place as well
as a hook into the center dash piece.  The top left screw of the center
console goes through this hook.  So, you need to undo the two nuts and
remove the top left screw from the center dash panel.  However, since it
is such a tight squeeze, you should probably loosen up all four screws
from the center panel before trying to remove the drivers side panel.

(This is all from a left hand drive car of course, if it's right hand
drive, then you need to remove the top right screw from the center panel)
