Hi everyone,
I'm beginning to go over the suspension of my '78 spit and I have a question
about the tie rod end balljoints.
I can see that the rubber seals are worn and must be replaced, but my
question is how do I know the tie rod end balljoints are worn?
The Haynes manyal says if there is any play it is worn. Visually the tie rod
thing that looks kinda like this ==O
looks sorda in an angle, and I can move it in a small arc. Is that normal?
Should it only swivel in the horizontal plane or does it also have a small
vertical movement?
Believe me that's all one question.
