I've been using SPAX shocks on my 1980 spit for 3 or 4 years now and can
fully recommend using them. I cant say how they effect a standard setup as I
did a compleat suspension overhaul and mod at the same time.
Alot of people prefer to use Koni shocks saying they are a better buy all
round, but having never used them I wouldnt like to comment.
