Ree,
I've had my 74 on the road for a week now and on Thursday I smelled Gas. I
looked in the trunk and fuel was coming out of the sending unit gasket. When I
opened my Cap it went PooooooF !  tons of air came out.
A fellow lister awhile back had mentioned about an orifice that is between the
tank and the carbon canistor. He stated that they get plugged up.

    Well Guess What?!   I found mine and it was plugged up.  I cleaned it and
made sure that the whole line was clear.
    Now everything is OK.  I don't know about later models but with this pipe
orifice cleaned out , the pressure (or vaccuum)  in the tank are no more because
the tank will vent through the carbon canistor and Anti Run On valve.

I found my orfice on the hose that 90's off the carbon canistor which goes to
the tank. It looks like copper.
