I am having a problem in getting the car tuned up.
Problem is no 1 cylinder does not get a spark at the right time. It seems to be
loosing and gaining extra sparks. Car has new plugs, leads, rotor, distributer
cap. 2,3,4 seem OK. Have diagnostics hooked up. Keeps saying its'an 8 cylinder
but it's set set for a 4 pot.
Anyone ever seen anything like this. Is the pickup gone? It looks OK.
Car is 76 federal with contactless ignition. I have the slotted disk type
pickup in the distributer.
