Been there, done that. Certainly, use one froma '79 or '80 with OD and you
should be fine.

just got out from underneath the spitfire, great way to spend a Friday
evening.
I found the 1st cable from the transmission broken. This on a 76 Federal
version with
an emmisson i think ERG counter between the two calbes. Does anyone know if
an
eariler or any other cable can go all the way from an OD transmisson to the
speedo.
Allowing me to remove the unnecessary EGR counter???
