Thanks for the responses, obviously the original plea got posted. For some
reason, I never saw it, probably cockpit problems.

Anyhow, back to the noise;

The trunnions have been rebuilt.
The brake drums have been turned.
Nothing in the tires.

It's a strap type driveshaft.

I'll try removing the wheels and jacking the vertical link.

I'll check for interference between the axle and brake lines

I'll pull the drums off and look.

And thank you, keep those ideas coming !

This noise is very pronounced, almost a 'chunk, chunk, chunk'.

And the saga continues...
