I've spent the afternoon unscrewing some electrical engineering that the DPO
did. I won't go into details, but...(ok... a 'parallel' electrical harness
off of the front parking lights run to the rear and spliced in, horn wired
with bright orange extension cord, like you might use for an electric
lawnmower...)

The car has a LOT fewer wires strung through it without affecting anything.
BUT... I didn't accomplish my objective:

The turn signal indicator (i.e. dash) flashes once when I turn on the left
turn signal (right is OK). The signals themselves continue to flash. The
left t.s. or indicator doesn't work at all when the headlights are on.

Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm unsure where to look next.

This is the critical problem but I do have others: The PO replaced the
lucas generator with a delco... when I have no problem with that idea, but
the ignition warning light (in the speedo) isn't hooked to anything. how
does this work?

I would also like some advice on the the oil pressure warning light. This
isn't hooked up either. I have the switch and a lead to the light, but am
unsure about the appropriate places for the other two connectors. The
diagram refers to an 'anti run on valve' when I don't think I have (air
pollution equipment is gone). This isn't as horrible as it seems as I
installed (with a T fitting) an oil pressure gauge which has indeed saved me
once from a oil catastrophy.

Cheers! and Thanks!
