Thanks for starting this worthwhile project.  It was a subject that was 
discussed a couple of years ago and never materialized.  There
are many such substitutions out there that need to ba cataloged.

One is the door strikers for early Spitfires.  Moss actually sells them but 
doesn't know it.  This is because they are the same as are
used on several earlier Austin Healeys.  I'll get the details for you when I 
get a chance to dig around my notes.
