Jason-
You've probably already got an answer, but if not, here it is.
Measurement should be bolt center to bolt center, and should equal 3-3/4".
It's an odd-ball size which is the reason it's difficult to find aftermarket
wheels to fit.
Hope this helps.
Chris

Subject: MK1 Bolt pattern

I am trying to figure out the correct bolt pattern for my 63 MK1. After
visiting several wheel & tire shops I have gotten 3 different answers, when
people tried to measure it.

4-100 (Metric)
4-4
4-4 1/4

I tried to measure it myself, diagonal across the bolt pattern outside of
one bolt to the center of the other, and came up with 4-3 7/8?????

Does anyone know the correct pattern or how to actually measure it
correctly?

Thanks,
Jason
