Hello fellow listers,
Im a full time lurker, just took delivery my second spitfire, a 72, I
use my 80 as a daily driver, Im so into this car
I don't want to take it off the road to work on it , so I bought another
one, I figure I can keep one on the road while
the other receives TLC. Damn spit fever I guess!
The motor on this car was a basket case, came in boxes, Im missing
the cam , timing sprocket and covers, lots
of small misc. parts, Block appears sound, Head is off and looks good,
I was hoping it had a 1300 motor but
I believe it's a 1500, serial # on the block is FP4096UE any help
identifying this one? also I could probably use
a donor engine to make up the missing parts, if anyone has a bad
motor that I could use for parts, let me know
